AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Please read and follow all information carefully, when preparing your manuscript.

Manuscripts that have not been prepared in accordance with our requirements will be returned to the authors without evaluation.

Types of Paper

Research Articles 
The findings of the original research are reported in research papers. The material must not have previously been published anywhere else. Full-length articles can contain up to 8,000 words.

Orginal research articles should be followed this submission checklist:

Review Articles - Reviews should summarise the current state of research in a particular subject of interest. Full-length review articles can contain up to 12,000 words.

Short Communications - Short communications emphasise novel research, interesting discoveries, or findings that are extremely important to conservation biology. Short communications should not be more than 4000 words.

General
Language: The journal‘s language is English. British English or American English spelling and terminology may be used.
Spacing: Please double−space all material, including notes and references.

TEXT FORMATTING

 

Manuscript should be submitted in word

  • Use a normal, plain font (e.g., 11-point Times Roman) for text.

  • Use italics for emphasis.

  • Use the automatic page numbering function to number the pages.

  • Use the table function, not spreadsheets, to make tables.

  • Use the equation editor or MathType for equations.

  • Save your file in docx format (Word 2007 or higher).

TITLE PAGE
Please make sure your title page contains the following information.

TitleTitle should be consice and informative.

Author Information

  • The name(s) of the author(s).

  • The affiliation(s) of the author(s), i.e. institution, department, city, state and country.

  • A clear indication and an active e-mail address of the corresponding author.

Abstract:

Please give a 150-250 words abstract. There should be no undefined abbreviations or references in the abstract.

​

Keywords: Please provide 4 to 6 keywords which can be used for indexing purposes.

FIgures: 

  • Only orginal photographs and figures of high resolution should be given.

  • Figure should be 300-600 dpi screen resolution in PNG or JPEG format.

  • Combination or line arts should be 1200 dpi screen resolution in PNG or JPEG format.

  • Figure caption: Figure captions should be concise and accurate.

  • Figures should be cited in text in consecutive numerical order and Cited as (Figure 1).

Tables:

  • Tables should be cited in text in consecutive numerical order.

  • Footnotes to tables should be indicated by superscript lower-case letters (or asterisks for significance values and other statistical data).

Acknowledgements
Collate acknowledgements in a separate section at the end of the article before the references.
 

REFERENCES
Please make sure your title page contains the following information.

Citation in the article:

If single author (Sundar 2018), If two author (Sundar and Manikandan, 2011) and if more than three author (Sundar et al., 2018).

If more than one references (Sundar et al., 2018; Malik et al., 2012; Micheal et al., 2010)

To cite the website (available at https://www.indiabcf.org/).

Examples

Kindly use the first author's name and year of publication for more than two authors in the references. References should be listed alphabetically.

Referees
Authors are at liberty to suggest the names of up to three potential reviewers (with full contact details) at the end of the manuscript. Potential reviewers should not include anyone with whom the authors have collaborated during the research being submitted.
